Paid fellowship pilot for veterans

If enacted, this would start a pilot in 3 to 5 States. Veterans in a selected State could work as fellows with an employer for up to 20 weeks. You would get a monthly stipend during the fellowship and a chance at a long-term job with the host employer. States would partner with a nonprofit to run the program. The bill would authorize $10 million each year for 2025–2029 and require a report to Congress within four years after the pilot starts.
