OSHA protections for government workers
If enacted, federal, state, and local government workers would get OSHA safety protections. Government employers would have to follow OSHA rules and fix hazards. Protections would start 90 days after enactment. In states without an OSHA-approved state plan, coverage would start 36 months after enactment. This would keep current OSHA-approved state plans in place.
