Healthy Babies Act of 2025
Sponsored By: Representative Rep. De La Cruz, Monica [R-TX-15]
Introduced
Summary
Expands WIC food choices to include infant food combinations and dinners. The bill would direct the Secretary of Agriculture to update WIC regulations within one year so infant food combinations and dinners are listed as eligible supplemental foods under the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. That change would allow WIC participants to receive these specific infant food items through the program.

More WIC infant meals for families
If enacted, WIC would add infant food combinations and dinners to its approved foods. The Agriculture Secretary would need to update WIC rules within 1 year after enactment. This would add food options, not cash. It would not change who qualifies for WIC. If your baby is on WIC, you could get these items.
