More presumptive conditions for Karshi Khanabad vets
If enacted, this would make it easier for veterans who served at Karshi Khanabad Air Base to prove VA disability claims. VA would treat many illnesses as service-connected for this group. The covered diseases would include: any cancer; thyroid, bone, heart, skin, nerve, reproductive, breathing, hormone, liver, and kidney diseases; blood disorders; primary immune regulatory disorders; medically unexplained chronic multisymptom illness; and cataracts. These would be in addition to other presumptive conditions already in law. This could help veterans get VA disability pay and VA health care faster.
