Headstones for cremated veterans buried together
This bill would let VA furnish a headstone or marker for some cremated veterans. It would apply if the veteran already got a VA urn or plaque and is buried at the same site as another person eligible for VA burial. The single marker would list both people. VA could do this only if it stays within the legal cost limit. If enacted, this could help families get one shared marker.
