Boost recruiting for the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) by forcing annual reviews of how the Department of Defense recruits high school students and recommending ways to raise DLIFLC enrollment.

- Families and students: Would increase outreach and awareness of linguist careers in the armed forces and similar government jobs, helping more high school students learn about paths into language training.
- Local schools and districts: Would require the Department of Defense to list which public secondary schools recruiters engage and to report those results by local educational agency, plus identify barriers that limit recruiter access and follow up with interested students.
- Department of Defense and military departments: Would require annual assessments that report recruited numbers from those schools, identify recruitment challenges, offer new recruitment and documentation methods, include each military department's plan to implement recommendations, and set measurable benchmarks. Reports would begin not later than Dec 31, 2025, and continue annually through Dec 31, 2030.
