Medicare would cover dialysis amyloidosis treatment

If enacted, this bill would add Medicare coverage for FDA‑approved treatments for dialysis‑related amyloidosis. The treatment would need to be given in a dialysis center, including hospital‑based units. Medicare would pay for these treatments separately, not inside the regular dialysis bundle. Payment would be 100% of reasonable charges for the covered items and services. The change would start on the date the bill is enacted.
