Summary
Guarantee at least one full-service Veterans Health Administration (VHA) hospital or equivalent in each contiguous state. This bill would require the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to ensure veterans eligible under 38 U.S.C. §1710 can get hospital care at not fewer than one full-service VHA hospital located within each of the 48 contiguous states or receive comparable services through contracts with in-state health care providers.
