Would create a GAO study of rural weather monitoring systems to map capacity, geographic gaps, resource needs, and barriers to upgrading local weather reporting. The Comptroller General would have 120 days after enactment to deliver the report to the Senate Committees on Science, Space, and Technology and on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.
