- Nonprofits, consumer groups, and Federal, State, or local agencies could partner to help disseminate the clearinghouse's information and expand its reach.
- The Secretary of Health and Human Services, the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Secretary of Labor would jointly designate one official to run the clearinghouse. If no designation occurs within 60 days, the CDC Director would serve as the default, and the official would have 120 days to establish the clearinghouse.
