SOS Act
Sponsored By: Representative Feenstra
Introduced
Summary
Require a graph comparing budgetary assumptions with current‑law Social Security trust fund outlays. This bill would amend reporting under the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act so the Congressional Budget Office's report on the Old‑Age and Survivors Insurance Trust Fund (OASI) and the Disability Insurance Trust Fund (DI) must include a graph that compares the amount assumed under section 257(b)(1) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 with projected outlays from those Trust Funds based on current‑law funding assumptions. The graph must appear with the other trust fund information in the report.
