Summary
Medicare coverage for hearing aids would be allowed by removing the statutory ban, making hearing aids and related exams payable for items and services furnished on or after January 1, 2026. The bill also requires the Comptroller General to study existing programs and coverage and deliver recommendations about expanding or creating programs to meet hearing loss needs.
