Summary
AI education for small businesses. This bill would require the Small Business Administration to create and publish plain-language AI training modules that help small firms understand how AI works, assess risks and privacy, and decide whether to adopt tools.

Free AI training for small businesses
If enacted, the Small Business Administration would post free AI training and guides for small businesses on its online learning site within 180 days. The materials would explain how AI works, its limits, privacy and risk issues, and how to choose tools that fit your needs. The SBA would consult NIST and an expert advisory group to keep the information accurate and current. SBA resource partners would help share the training and could add local content. The materials would be easy to use and would not favor any one AI vendor.
No new money for AI small-business help
The bill would not authorize any new funding to carry out this Act. Agencies, including the SBA, would need to use existing budgets to build and maintain the AI training. This is a funding rule and would not create direct payments or tax changes for households or businesses.
