More public data on U.S. development projects

This bill would require the U.S. Development Finance Corporation to expand its annual report and publish a public, machine-readable project database. The expanded yearly report would, to the extent practicable, list project goals and outcomes, private capital projected and actually mobilized, country and risk breakdowns, CEO incentives for transaction teams, and portfolio health metrics like funds committed, disbursed, defaults, recoveries, and equity returns with explanations. The public database would, to the greatest extent feasible, include the same report data plus project-level performance metrics and anticipated and assessed development impacts. If enacted, these reporting and data requirements would take effect upon enactment.
