Extend Fort Peck water authorization
If enacted, this bill would change two dates in Section 9 from 2026 to 2028. That would extend the Fort Peck Reservation Rural Water System authorization through 2028. This change would take effect upon enactment. It would preserve federal authority to support construction or assistance for the Fort Peck water system. Households and small businesses served by the system would remain eligible for federal help under that authorization.
