Summary
Exempts veterans from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) work requirement. This bill would amend Section 6(o)(3) of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2015(o)(3)) by adding a new subparagraph (H) that explicitly lists a veteran as an exempt category. That insertion makes veterans a named exemption from SNAP's work requirement so eligible veterans could receive benefits without meeting the program's general work test.
