Summary
Bans state charges to fund the RGGI Energy Efficiency Program. This bill would bar any State from imposing a charge for the purpose of funding the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative Energy Efficiency Program. A short-title clause lets the measure be cited as the Stop Taxing Our Power Act or the STOP RGGI Act. The ban is the bill's only operative provision and the text contains no additional provisions about alternative funding, enforcement, or program setup.
