More school breakfast money for kids

This bill would give states an extra $0.10 for each reimbursable school breakfast served after the school day starts during a school year. The extra payment would go to the State educational agency (SEA), and the SEA would have to give the money to the school that served the breakfast. Schools would be eligible if their district elects special assistance payments for that school for the year or if at least 40% of enrolled students were identified students in the prior school year. A "breakfast after the bell" program would mean the school serves breakfast after the start of the day using a service method the SEA determines increases participation, such as in-classroom service or a kiosk.
