Endless Mountains National Heritage Area Act
Sponsored By: Representative Rep. Meuser, Daniel [R-PA-9]
Introduced
Summary
The bill would designate the Endless Mountains National Heritage Area to cover Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna, and Wyoming Counties in Pennsylvania, with exact boundaries set by the Secretary of the Interior based on a feasibility study. It would name Endless Mountains Heritage Region, Inc. as the local coordinating entity and require that entity to submit a proposed management plan for approval within three years. The Secretary could provide assistance under the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act, but that authority would end 15 years after enactment.
