  • Local schools and coalitions: Eligible coalitions that previously received Drug-Free Communities grants and have a memorandum of understanding with a school could apply for up to $75,000 per year. Only one eligible entity may receive a grant for a given school and renewals are available for the three fiscal years following an initial award.
  • Federal oversight and agencies: The Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy would administer the program and may delegate grant execution to other national drug control agencies. Up to 8% of appropriated funds may be used for administrative costs.
