Show full summary
  • Older adults and families: It would guarantee access to high-quality, affordable health care and long-term services, seek lower prescription drug prices and more transparency, and support aging in place with caregiver supports and a larger direct care workforce. It notes the scale of aging with about 10,000 Americans turning 65 each day and that nearly 90 percent of adults 65 and older take prescription drugs.
  • Workers, retirees, and savers: It would preserve and expand Social Security benefits, protect pensions as earned benefits, promote retirement savings help, and strengthen protections against financial exploitation, scams, and age discrimination in employment.
  • Rural and underserved communities: It would push for accessible housing and transportation, expanded affordable broadband and digital access, culturally competent home and community services, better standards for nursing facilities, and more access to hearing, dental, and eye care.
