Would condemn the September 10, 2025 shooting at Evergreen High School and honor the victims, survivors, and first responders. This resolution would note that two people were hospitalized and would credit Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies, Jeffco Public Schools R‑1 security officers, educators, staff, and neighbors for arriving within two minutes and preventing further harm. It would recognize the significant trauma experienced by students, educators, and faculty and praise trauma care at CommonSpirit St. Anthony Hospital and Children’s Hospital Colorado. It would extend condolences and support to the Evergreen and Jefferson County communities.
