If enacted, Small Business Development Centers and Women’s Business Centers would offer targeted help. Small businesses could get help to hire graduates of career and technical education programs. Those graduates could get help to start a small business. The bill would use the Perkins Act definition of "career and technical education" to decide who qualifies. These changes would take effect upon enactment.
