Summary
This bill would authorize the use of recovered, non-reimbursable funds from the Boulder Canyon Project Fund for Hoover Dam activities. It would let the Secretary of the Interior spend those funds for operations, maintenance, investigations, cleanup, and capital improvements, in consultation with the Boulder Canyon Project contractors.

If enacted, the Secretary of the Interior would be able to spend money from the Boulder Canyon Project Fund. This includes money in account XXXR5656P1 that was or will be recovered on a non-reimbursable basis. The money could pay for operations, maintenance, investigation and cleanup, and capital improvements at Hoover Dam or on land used to build and operate the dam. The Secretary would consult the Boulder Canyon Project contractors named in the Hoover Power Allocation Act of 2011. This authority would take effect upon enactment.
