Extend diesel grant program to 2029
This bill would extend the Diesel Emissions Reduction Program's legal authorization through 2029. It would replace the current 2024 authorization date with 2029. The change would not give any money by itself. States, local agencies, fleet owners, and businesses could still get grants only if Congress funds them. The extension would take effect upon enactment.
