Deduct student loan payments on SNAP

If enacted, you would be able to deduct your monthly student loan payments when applying for SNAP or when you recertify. The deduction would equal the dollar amount you pay each month and would reduce countable income for eligibility and benefit calculations. Do not include payments made on your household's behalf by someone else. This would begin 180 days after enactment and would cover federal Title IV loans and private education loans defined in law.
