More medical providers for injured federal workers

If enacted, injured federal workers covered by the federal workers' compensation program (FECA) would be able to get FECA-covered care from nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Those clinicians must practice within the scope of State law. The bill would add a new FECA category called "other eligible provider" and update FECA language to list these providers. If enacted, the Department of Labor would have 6 months after enactment to finish rules to implement these changes.
