Biodiesel tax credit changes for businesses
This bill would extend the biodiesel fuels tax credit through May 31, 2026 by changing the credit's expiration date. The change would apply to fuel used or sold after November 30, 2025. It would also bar claiming the Section 40A biodiesel credit for any fuel that already gets the Section 45Z credit, except for a narrow exception in subsection b(4)(D). The bill would update related refund and payment rules so they match the new expiration date.
