Clinical PFAS guidance for exposed communities

This bill would require the ATSDR Director to hire the National Academies or a similar group within 60 days of enactment. ATSDR would issue, post, and share clinical guidance with State and local public health authorities and health care professionals within 5 years of the agreement. The guidance and the underlying assessment would be updated at least every 5 years, or sooner if the Director finds new science. The process would include outreach to PFAS-exposed communities and solicit their input on exposure, testing, and clinical follow-up.
