Extend Mesa County disposal authorization

If enacted, this bill would remove the phrase ", or September 30, 2031, whichever comes first" from the law that authorizes the Mesa County, Colorado uranium tailings disposal site. The authorization would therefore continue until the site is filled to its designed capacity instead of automatically ending on September 30, 2031. The bill would not add new funding or change who is eligible or how the site is enforced. Site operators and contractors would keep authorization to operate, and nearby residents would see continued operations and related local environmental effects.
