More rural home loan access
If enacted, the bill would let communities of up to 10,000 people (instead of 2,500) qualify for Farm Credit rural housing financing. It would also explicitly include accessory dwelling units (ADUs) as appurtenances. If your property and community meet those tests, homeowners or buyers would be able to use Farm Credit rural housing loans. The change would take effect upon enactment.
