Faster en bloc Senate confirmations
If adopted, this resolution would let the Senate Majority Leader move to consider up to 10 nominations at once. The nominations must have been reported by the same Senate committee and placed on the Senate calendar. It would not apply to Level I Executive Schedule jobs, judges of U.S. Courts of Appeals, or Supreme Court Justices. The motion and the combined consideration would follow the same rules as a motion to proceed on a single nomination. This would be a procedural change and would not create new funding or change eligibility for those offices.
