Payment to Johnson County for claims

The law pays $182,058.97 to Johnson County. Money comes from the General Fund through Program 536 in Agency 65. The state issues the warrant after proper vouchers and a full receipt and release.

Immediate payment process and conditions

The Director of Administrative Services can issue warrants to the named payees. The State Treasurer pays them from the listed funds. A warrant is not delivered until the beneficiary files a receipt and release in full. Because an emergency is declared, the act takes effect when passed and approved, so payments can begin right away.
