Dental providers get rental network protections
The law sets rules for rented dental networks. For contracts signed or changed more than 30 days after the law’s effective date, your contract must include a clear rental notice and list all current renters. If your contract is rented, the plan must tell you within 45 days, in writing or electronically, and name the company. Any renter must follow your original contract, including discounted rates and all terms. You may drop the renting company without ending your original plan contract. If a current contract conflicts with this law, old terms stay until it is entered into, changed, or renewed on that subsection’s effective date.
