Loan relief for private water systems' lead pipe replacement

The state Safe Drinking Water Loan Program now allows principal forgiveness on some loans. Private community water system owners can get forgiveness only for loans to replace lead service lines. Using these federal Safe Drinking Water Act capitalization grants, forgiveness is not allowed for other private projects. Program setup and funding levels stay the same.
