All tritium recycling for weapons, including refitting, and any tritium work that used to be done at the Mound Plant in Ohio must be done at the Savannah River Site in South Carolina. Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico may do tritium research, perform tritium work for the defense inertial confinement fusion program, and provide technical help to the Savannah River Site for the weapons surveillance program.
