Title 12 › Chapter CHAPTER 12— - SAVINGS ASSOCIATIONS › § 1465
Courts and the Comptroller must use the same rules as for national banks when they decide if a State law applies to a Federal savings association. Even though sections 1463 and 1464 give federal powers, this chapter does not replace all State laws. Section 25b(i) applies to Federal savings associations and their subsidiaries the same as it does to national banks and their subsidiaries. If the Comptroller enforces rules under this chapter or under section 45 of title 15, private parties can still go to court to enforce their federal or State law rights.
