When the Secretary asks, the Army or Air Force can let Coast Guard members attend any of their schools, including flight schools. The services can agree to charge or not charge for costs, and Coast Guard students must follow the school rules. Coast Guard officers and enlisted members may buy Army quartermaster supplies at the same prices Army personnel pay. The Army may also sell ordnance items to Coast Guard officers for official use the same way it sells them to Army officers.
