Makes a fur product "misbranded" if it is labeled or described in a false or misleading way. It is also misbranded if it does not have a clear label attached that uses words and numbers to show: the animal name(s) (as given in the Fur Products Name Guide) plus any qualifier required under section 69e(c); whether the fur is used; whether it is bleached, dyed, or artificially colored; whether it is mostly paws, tails, bellies, or waste fur; the name or Commission-registered ID of the person who made, sold, advertised, or moved it; and the country of origin for any imported furs. A fur product is also misbranded if the animal name(s) on the label are not the names listed in the Fur Products Name Guide.
