Makes it illegal to advertise fur products with missing or false information. Ads must show the animal name(s) listed in the Fur Products Name Guide and any short qualifying statement required under section 69e(c). Ads must say when the fur is used, when it has been bleached, dyed, or otherwise colored, and when the item is largely made from paws, tails, bellies, or waste fur. Ads for imported fur or fur in a product must name the country of origin. Ads may not use different animal names or any misleading claims. Invoices must show the same details about animal name(s), the needed qualifying statement, used fur, bleaching/dyeing, paws/tails/bellies/waste content, and country of origin. Invoices also must give the name and address of the person issuing the invoice. Invoices may not use other animal names or any false or deceptive descriptions.
