Title 15 › Chapter CHAPTER 15C— - ALASKA NATURAL GAS TRANSPORTATION › § 719g
Federal agencies must give any certificates, permits, rights-of-way, leases, or other approvals needed to build and start the approved transportation system as soon as they can. They must use all the authority their laws allow and must speed up those applications and treat them as top priority. This must be done without regard to any laws that were waived under section 719f(g). Those approvals must include any terms that the law requires, unless waived under section 719f(g). Agencies can add other lawful conditions, but they cannot add conditions that would change the basic nature or general route of the approved system or that would significantly stop or delay quick construction and initial operation. Agencies may later change terms if their laws allow, but they still cannot add changes that would alter the system’s basic nature or route or significantly impair fast construction or startup. Agencies should also include terms the President’s decision said were appropriate, as allowed by law.
