The Secretary must notify the FAA, the EPA under the Noise Control Act of 1972 (42 U.S.C. 4901 et seq.), or other agencies if aircraft or helicopter activity in Grand Canyon National Park, including airspace below the canyon rims, may harm visitors or the park’s quiet. Those agencies must review the report, consult the Secretary, and act to protect the park and visitors.
