Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 1— - NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER XL— - HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK › § 372
The land in Hot Springs Mountain Reservation inside the described line is under the sole control of the United States. The area is bounded by stone monuments numbered 7, 42, 33, and 30 along Reserve Avenue, Fountain Street, and Central Avenue in township 2 south, range 19 west, Garland County, and it also includes block 82 of the United States Hot Springs National Park. Nothing here or in sections 373 and 374 stops Arkansas courts from serving civil or criminal papers inside those boundaries. If a fugitive hides there, the State’s executive may act and Arkansas’s laws about fugitives apply. Arkansas may also tax privately owned buildings and other private property there as allowed by section 365.
