Defines the key words used for rules about the Land Between the Lakes area. It tells who or what the law is talking about. Administrator means the head of the Environmental Protection Agency. Advisory Board means the Land Between the Lakes Advisory Board set up under section 460lll–22. Chairman means the Chair of the Tennessee Valley Authority Board of Directors. Eligible employee means a person who, on the transfer date under section 460lll–41, was a full‑time or part‑time annual TVA employee at the Recreation Area. Environmental law means any federal, state, or local laws and rules that protect people, natural and cultural resources, or the environment, and specifically includes the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980; the Solid Waste Disposal Act; the Federal Water Pollution Control Act; the Clean Air Act; the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act; the Toxic Substances Control Act; the Safe Drinking Water Act; the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969; and the Endangered Species Act of 1973. Forest highway uses the meaning in section 101(a) of title 23. Governmental unit means a federal, state, or local agency, a public or municipal corporation, or a unit of a state university system. Hazardous substance, person, pollutant or contaminant, release, and response action use the definitions in section 101 of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (42 U.S.C. 9601). Qualified resident or relative means a former resident or their spouse, or a widow, widower, or direct descendant of someone buried in a cemetery in the Recreation Area. Recreation Area means the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. Secretary means the Secretary of Agriculture. State means Kentucky and Tennessee.
