Summary

The Secretary must charge reasonable fees, after talking with the Advisory Board and under the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (16 U.S.C. 6801 et seq.), for admission to or use of specific sites or activities inside the Recreation Area. The Secretary can weigh the cost of collecting fees against the money they would bring in, but no general entrance fees are allowed anywhere in the Recreation Area.

(a)The Secretary shall charge reasonable fees, in consultation with the Advisory Board and consistent with the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (16 U.S.C. 6801 et seq.), for admission to and the use of the designated sites, or for activities, within the Recreation Area.
(b)In determining whether to charge fees, the Secretary may consider the costs of collection weighed against potential income.
(c)No general entrance fees shall be charged within the Recreation Area.
