Lists the important words used in the chapter about fees and permits for visiting and using federal park and recreation lands. "Entrance fee" — the charge to enter lands run by the National Park Service or the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. "Expanded amenity recreation fee" — the special fee described in section 6802(g). "Federal land management agency" — the NPS, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, or Forest Service. "Federal recreational lands and waters" — lands or waters those agencies manage. "National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass" — the interagency national pass described in section 6804. "Passholder" — the person who is issued a recreation pass. "Recreation fee" — any of the fees: entrance, standard amenity, expanded amenity, or special recreation permit fee. "Recreation pass" — the interagency pass or other authorized recreation passes under section 6804. "Recreation service provider" — a person who offers recreational services to the public under certain special recreation permits (paragraph 13(A)(iii) or (iv)). "Secretaries" — the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Agriculture acting together. "Secretary" — the Secretary of the Interior for agencies other than the Forest Service, and the Secretary of Agriculture for the Forest Service. "Special account" — the Treasury account set up for an agency under section 6806. "Special recreation permit" — a permit for specific uses, such as specialized activities (like camps or single events), large-group events of 75 or more people, certain organized or competitive events with numeric limits (for example, noncompetitive events under 75 people that may charge fees and involve fewer than 200 visitor-use days and occur no more than 3 times a year; single competitive events; recurring noncompetitive group activities with fewer than 7 people and fewer than 40 visitor-use days and a term not more than 180 days), or recurring outfitting and guiding or similar services authorized for up to 10 years or under temporary permits. "Special recreation permit" does not include concession contracts, commercial use authorizations under section 101925 of title 54, or other types of permits such as NPS special use permits. "Special recreation permit fee" — the fee described in section 6802(h)(2). "Standard amenity recreation fee" — the fee described in section 6802(f). "State" — each State, the District of Columbia, and each U.S. territory.
