Creates the Greer Spring Special Management Area in the Mark Twain National Forest and requires the Secretary to manage it for public outdoor recreation and to protect its natural, archaeological, and scenic resources. The area is the land and water shown on the official map, and the Secretary may make small boundary changes. Timber may be cut only to fight insects or disease, for public safety, for salvage, or to meet the area’s goals, using the individual-tree selection method when possible. Hunting and fishing are allowed under federal and state law. Mining and mineral/geothermal leasing are blocked except for valid existing rights. Only roads shown on the map can be built, and access for roads or timber work must be done to minimize environmental harm.
