Promote teamwork across U.S. agencies and with foreign partners to stop illegal wildlife trade. Protect and conserve remaining wild elephants, rhinoceroses, and other species harmed by poaching. Disrupt transnational criminal networks and stop wildlife trafficking from funding crime. Prevent poaching from being a way to earn a living in focus countries. Help communities and foreign governments fight poaching and enforce laws. Make U.S. assistance well planned, coordinated, and prioritized using careful threat analysis.
