Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 12G— - PACIFIC NORTHWEST FEDERAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM › § 838
Revenues from the Federal Columbia River Power System and money from revenue bonds must be used to run, maintain, and build the federal transmission system in the Pacific Northwest. This supports existing laws and the U.S.–Canada Columbia River treaty about marketing hydro power and using revenues to fund regional reclamation projects. Unless this chapter says otherwise, the Secretary of Energy keeps the same powers and duties over the Federal Columbia River Power System. Any Administrator named here must work under the Secretary’s supervision and direction.
