It is a crime for a person who means to cheat to make, print, copy, or otherwise create fake obligations; to pass, sell, offer, broker, or possess them inside the United States; or to use mail, phone, wire, radio, other electronic means, or cross‑border commerce to send, move, or transfer them. Words that are defined in section 513(c) keep the same meanings here. The U.S. Secret Service, and any other agency with that power, may investigate these crimes.
